THE REPUBLIC BANK VACCINATION LOTTERY – TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Disclaimer: THIS CONTEST IS IN NO WAY SPONSORED, ENDORSED OR ADMINISTERED BY, OR ASSOCIATED WITH, FACEBOOK, INC. (“FACEBOOK”).

Eligibility: The Republic Bank Limited Vaccination Lottery: Take Your Shot to WIN! (the “Contest”) will take place between September 13^th – December 10^th, 2021. Participants must be at least eighteen (18) years old and must confirm that they have attained a partial or fully vaccinated status, as defined by the Ministry of Health of Trinidad and Tobago, at date of entry. The Contest is only open to residents of Trinidad and Tobago (the “Country”) who have been vaccinated in Trinidad and Tobago under the auspices of the Ministry of Health of Trinidad and Tobago and is void where prohibited by law. Employees of Republic Bank Limited (“the Sponsor”), and their immediate family members and/or those living in the same household of each are not eligible to participate in the Contest. Additionally, the employees of the Sponsor’s respective affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, and suppliers, and their immediate family members and/or those living in the same household of each are not eligible to participate in the Contest.

Agreement to Rules: By entering the Contest, participants automatically agree to be fully, unconditionally bound by these terms and conditions (“Rules”), and represent and warrant that they individually meet the eligibility requirements set forth herein. In addition, participants agree to accept the decisions of the Sponsor as final and binding as it relates to the Contest. Use of fraudulent methods or any attempt to circumvent the Rules may result in ineligibility and removal of the submission, at the sole discretion of the Sponsor.

Contest Period: The Contest will run from September 13th – December 10^th, 2021. Entries must be received by December 10^th, 2021, at 11:59:59 PM AST. The Contest will consist of twelve (12) Weekly Prizes and two (2) Grand Final Prizes. The two Grand Final Prizes will be awarded on the condition that the fully vaccinated rate of the population of Trinidad and Tobago reaches or exceeds 70% as independently verified by the Ministry of Health. The Sponsor will award one (1) Back-Up Grand Final Prize in the case where the required 70% fully vaccinated rate is not reached by December 10^th, 2021 but instead the Country achieves a minimum of 50% vaccination rate of its population, as independently verified by the Ministry of Health.

How to Enter: Participants may only enter once via the website www. rblpromotions.com/take-your-shot-to-win. The winners of the Twelve (12) Weekly Prizes and the, two (2) Grand Final Prizes (or one (1) Back-up Grand Final Prize as may be applicable) will be selected randomly in the frequency described in Paragraph 7. The entrants must fulfil all Contest requirements as specified herein, to be eligible to win a prize. Entries that do not adhere to the Rules or specifications may be disqualified at the sole discretion of the Sponsor.

Prizes: The Weekly Winners will be chosen at random on a weekly basis and presented with one (1) prize each of a $5,000 TTD Visa Gift Card. Weekly Winners will be eligible to win either one (1) of the two (2) Grand Final Prizes or the Back-Up Grand Final Prize but will not be eligible to win any additional Weekly prizes. Participant must be fully vaccinated at the time of the Weekly Draw to be eligible to win the Weekly Prize. The Grand Final Prize will be two (2) Suzuki Vitara GLX vehicles, each valued at TTD $250,000.00 and the Back -Up Grand Final Prize will be one (1) Suzuki Vitara GLX vehicle valued at TTD $250,000.00. Entrants are only eligible to win the two (2) Grand Final Prizes on the express condition that Trinidad and Tobago’s total fully vaccinated population is at a minimum of 70% by December 10^th, 2021. In the event this minimum of the 70% threshold is not achieved by December 10^th, 2021, entrants will only be eligible to win the Back-up Grand Final Prize of one (1) Suzuki Vitara GLX vehicles valued at TTD $250,000.00 on the express condition that Trinidad and Tobago’s total fully vaccinated population is at a minimum of 50% by December 10^th, 2021 .This is to be confirmed independently by the Ministry of Health of Trinidad & Tobago. In the instance whereby the Country does not meet either the minimum 70% fully vaccinated status or the minimum 50% fully vaccinated status by December 10^th, 2021, the Grand Final Prize and the Back-Up Grand Final Prize become Participant must be partially or fully vaccinated at the time of the Grand Prize Draw to be eligible to win the Grand Final Prize.

The specifics of the prize shall be solely determined by the Sponsor. The prize is non-transferable. No substitution of prize or transfer/assignment of prize to others or request for the cash equivalent by winners is permitted. Acceptance of prize constitutes permission for the Sponsor to use the winner’s name, likeness, and entry for purposes of advertising and trade without further compensation, unless prohibited by law.

ALL PRIZES ARE GIVEN AWAY BY SPONSOR “AS IS.” THE SPONSOR DOES NOT MAKE AND HEREBY DISCLAIMS ANY WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY (INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION ANY IMPLIED OR STATUTORY WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT) WITH REGARD TO ANY PRIZE.

Odds: The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received and based on random selection.

Winner selection and notification:

Entrants are only eligible for prizes if they are fully vaccinated at the time of the

Weekly and Grand Prize final draw dates. Entrants consent to signing a release form agreeing for the Ministry of Health to release their vaccination status to the Sponsor.

Weekly Winners will be drawn at random every Thursday from September 16^th – December 2^nd, 2021, in the presence of an independent Auditor, and announced online via the Republic Bank social media pages every Friday from September 17^th – December 3rd, 2021. On selection, Weekly Winners will be required to provide official Proof of Vaccination (a clear photograph of their stamped Ministry of Health Immunization Card), as well as a Valid form of identification (e.g., Driver’s Permit, National Identification, Passport). If the Ministry of Health cannot verify the winner’s vaccination status, or the winner does not contact the Sponsor or their respective advertising and promotion agencies within seven (7) calendar days of their name being announced, they will forfeit the prize and will be ineligible to win future Weekly or Grand prizes.

Grand Final Prize winners will be drawn at random on December 13^th, 2021, in the presence of an independent Auditor, and will be announced online via the Republic Bank social media pages on December 14th, 2021. On selection, Grand Prize Winners will be required to provide official Proof of Vaccination (a clear photograph of their stamped Ministry of Health Immunization Card), as well as a Valid form of identification (e.g., Driver’s Permit, National Identification, Passport). Proof of a fully or partial vaccination status will be independently verified by the Ministry of Health. If the Ministry of Health cannot verify the winner’s vaccination status, or the winner does not contact the Sponsor or their respective advertising and promotion agencies within seven (7) calendar days of their name being announced, they will forfeit the prize and a new winner will be selected.

All winners will also be required to sign a release form agreeing for the Ministry of Health to release their vaccination status to the Sponsor.

The Sponsor and affiliate advertising and promotion agencies are not responsible for the length of time the Ministry of Health takes to verify a winner’s vaccination status or its impact on the announcement and release of prizes.

The Sponsor shall have no liability for a winner’s failure to receive notices due to winners’ spam, junk e-mail or other security settings or for the winner’s’ provision of incorrect or otherwise non-functioning contact information. If the selected winner cannot be contacted, is ineligible for any reason, cannot be verified as fully vaccinated by the Ministry of Health, or fails to claim the prize within any designated collection period, prize may be forfeited, and an alternate winner selected.

Winner’s receipt of the prize offered in this Contest is conditioned upon compliance with any and all applicable local laws and regulations. ANY VIOLATION OF THESE OFFICIAL RULES BY ANY WINNER (AT SPONSOR’S SOLE DISCRETION) WILL RESULT IN SUCH WINNER’S DISQUALIFICATION AS WINNER OF THE CONTEST AND ALL PRIVILEGES AS WINNER WILL BE IMMEDIATELY TERMINATED.

Rights Granted by you: By entering this contest you understand that the Sponsor, or anyone acting on behalf of the Sponsor, or its respective licensees, successors and assigns will have the right, where permitted by law, without any further notice, review or consent to print, publish, broadcast, distribute, and use, worldwide in any media now known or hereafter in perpetuity and throughout the world, your entry, including, without limitation, the entry and winner’s name, portrait, picture, voice, likeness, image or statements about the Contest, and biographical information as news, publicity or information and for trade, advertising, public relations and promotional purposes without any further compensation.

Terms: The Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend the Contest should the weather not be permitting, a virus, bugs, non-authorised human intervention, fraud or other causes beyond its control corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness or proper conduct of the Contest. In such case, the Sponsor may select the winners from all eligible entries received prior to and/or after such cancellation, termination, modification or suspension of the Contest. The Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers or attempts to tamper with the entry process or the operation of the Contest or website or violates these Rules.

Any attempt by an entrant to deliberately damage any web site or undermine the legitimate operation of the Contest may be a violation of criminal and civil laws and should such an attempt be made, the Sponsor reserves the right to seek damages from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Limitation of Liability: By entering you agree to release and hold harmless the Sponsor and its subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies, partners, representatives, agents, successors, assigns, employees, officers and directors from any liability, illness, injury, death, loss, litigation, claim or damage that may occur, directly or indirectly, whether caused by negligence or not, from (i) such entrant’s participation in the Contest and/or his/her acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of any prize or any portion thereof, (ii) technical failures of any kind, including but not limited to the malfunctioning of any computer, cable, network, hardware or software; (iii) the unavailability or inaccessibility of any transmissions or telephone or Internet service; (iv) unauthorised human intervention in any part of the entry process or the Contest; (v) electronic or human error which may occur in the administration of the Contest or the processing of entries.

Disputes: THIS CONTEST IS GOVERNED BY THE LAWS OF TRINIDAD AND TOBAGO, WITHOUT RESPECT TO CONFLICT OF LAW DOCTRINES. As a condition of participating in this Contest, participant agrees that any and all disputes which cannot be resolved between the parties, and causes of action arising out of or connected with this Contest, shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, exclusively before a court located in Trinidad and Tobago having jurisdiction. Further, in any such dispute, under no circumstances will participants be permitted to obtain awards for, and hereby waive all rights to claim punitive, incidental, or consequential damages, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, other than participant’s actual out-of-pocket expenses (i.e., costs associated with entering this Contest), and participants further waive all rights to have damages multiplied or increased.

Privacy Policy: Subject to the rights granted by participants within clause 8 of these Rules, information submitted with an entry is subject to the Privacy Policy stated on the Sponsor’s Facebook and Instagram sites. The Sponsor, Republic Bank Limited, reserves the right to alter any rules of any giveaway, including this Contest at any time.
